Road Trip!! Off-site at the UWM Planetarium: Dr. Jean Creighton, Speaker

Dr. Jean Creighton will share her expedition aboard SOFIA, the largest airborne observatory in the world, capable of making observations that are impossible for even the largest and highest ground-based telescopes. She is also eager to share with you her adventures in the stratosphere as a NASA Airborne Astronomy Ambassador. In addition, Jean will share her excitement about space exploration and our understanding of the cosmos. Finally, we will look at stars and constellations to get ready for spring nights.
